摘要: Abstract This article first provides a brief and simple account of continuum models for transport in porous media, the role length scales passing from pore-scale phenomena to “Darcy” scale representations using averaged variables. It then examines influence non-Newtonian rheology on single- multi-phase parameters, i.e. Darcy viscosity, dispersion lengths relative permeabilities. The aim is deduce functional forms values these parameters given rheological properties fluid or fluids question, porosity, permeability, permeabilities (based Newtonian equivalent capillary pressures) medium. concluded that micro-models, typically composed networks, applied at sub-Darcy-scale, parameterised data flows well-characterised set fluids, are likely provide most reliable means.
