摘要: This study was conducted to compare the effects of prostaglandins (estroPLAN® and Lutalyse®) progestagens (CIDR® FGA-45®) in synchronizing oestrus Yankasa ewes between January February 2014. Thirty three (33) aged 1.5- 3 years, 21 26 kg body weights, with condition score 2.5- 3.5 were used this study. Ewes randomly allocated into 5 groups, Group 1 (ewes treated Lutalyse® [YK-LT], n= 7), 2 estroPLAN® [YK-ET], EAZI- BREED™ CIDR® [YK-CD], 5), 4 Fluorogestone acetate-45® [YK-FG], 7) (Control [YK-CT], 7). Natural breeding carried out using sexually active rams for days following progestagen withdrawal second prostaglandin administration. 100% response observed YK-ET, YK-CD YK-FG, respectively. Time onset 68.23 ± 17.28 h YK-LT, 49.29 4.5 33.48 8.6 YK-CD, 53.27 12.3 YK-FG 39.2 13 YK-CT. Duration longest YK-LT (51.35 13.9 h) shortest YK-CT (17.2 6.9 h). Mounts per period highest (26.9 4.8) lowest YK-ET (14.3 4.3). Conception rate groups It is concluded that offered best results may be by farmers enhance productivity.
