Rab11 facilitates cross-talk between autophagy and endosomal pathway through regulation of Hook localization

摘要: During autophagy, double-membrane autophagosomes deliver sequestered cytoplasmic content to late endosomes and lysosomes for degradation. The molecular mechanism of autophagosome maturation is still poorly characterized. small GTPase Rab11 regulates endosomal traffic thought function at the level recycling endosomes. We show that loss leads accumulation in Drosophila melanogaster. translocates from response autophagy induction physically interacts with Hook, a negative regulator endosome maturation. Hook anchors microtubules, we facilitates fusion by removing mature inhibiting its homodimerization. Thus appears promote autophagic flux increased convergence pathway.
