摘要: Increased intra-carpal-tunnel pressure due to swelling of the flexor tenosynovium is most probable pathological mechanism idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). To clarify role tenascin-C and PG-M/versican, which have often been found be involved in tissue remodeling vascular stenosis pathogenesis CTS, we histologically biochemically examined production extracellular matrix from 40 CTS patients. Tenascin-C was temporarily expressed vessel wall, synovial lining fibrous tissue, with expression regulated differently each tissue. by vessels correlated disease duration appeared lesion pathology. Morphometric analysis showed that small arteries PG-M/versican surrounding connective also present at neointima severely narrowed vessels. Although shows marked regional variation seems inconsistent, vitro examination suggested these tissues response mechanical strain on tenosynovium.
