摘要: Bacterial endosymbionts play key roles in arthropod biology, ranging from beneficial mutualists to parasitic sex ratio manipulators. The number of described endosymbiotic bacterial taxa has accumulated continuously recent years. While the understanding arthropod–microbe interactions advanced significantly, especially model organisms, relatively little is known about symbiont distribution and effects non-model organisms. As a first step alleviate this gap understanding, we performed an endosymbiont survey bees (Anthophila), ecologically economically important group hymenopterans. To end, sampled 170 bee species screened by PCR for presence Wolbachia , Rickettsia Arsenophonus Cardinium . Detected strains were then further diagnosed additional markers. Additionally, tested if certain ecological traits, phylogeny or geographic origin explain distribution. Our results indicate that supergroup A are very common their can be significantly correlated both host ecology phylogeny, although distinction these factors not possible. Furthermore, same region (Old World New World) more likely harbour identical than expected chance. Other ( ) less common, specific particular taxa, suggesting major predictor bees.
