摘要: In this paper, it is explained how composite structures, made of continuous fibers embedded in a polymer matrix, are designed and analyzed the aerospace industry. The strategy based on building block approach, which knowledge material structure built step by from coupon level up to final full scale structure. Damage then discussed, as can't be ignored when composites concerned. approach available SAMCEF finite element code described. It continuum mechanics allows studying progressive failure plies at their interface (so considering delamination). models described, use illustrated level. identification procedure for damage also discussed. therefore shown information behavior can used upper stages so applied larger structures. advocated here that automotive applications, leading transfer technology automotive.
