摘要: The spiny lobster, Panulirus argus, is an ecologically relevant species in shallow water coral reefs and a target of the most lucrative fishery greater Caribbean region. This study reports, for first time, heart + hemolymph transcriptome lobster argus assembled from short Illumina 150bp PE raw reads. A total 80,152,094 reads were using Oyster River Protocol pipeline. assembly resulted 254,773 transcripts. Functional gene annotation was conducted software package 'dammit'. Lastly, enrichment analyses Gene Ontology (GO) KEGG pathway (Kaas) databases. resource will be utmost importance future research aiming at exploring effect local regional anthropogenic disturbances, as well global climate change on molecular physiology this overexploited species.
