Design environments for high-functionality computer systems

摘要: High-functionality computer systems (HFCS) offer many tools and components. No single user of such a system can be or should expert with them all. This thesis explores the issues involved in designing computational environments to support users who are performing design tasks unfamiliar domains. Design needed allow designers take advantage facilities HFCS without extended learning training periods. To investigate these issues, series construction kits for domain interface have been implemented. Evaluation interactions shows that enable nonexperts carry out otherwise require considerable amount expertise. With this experience as foundation, an architecture is presented.
