摘要: Abstract For temperate-zone fruit species such as apricot, when winter cold requirements are not adequately satisfied, negative repercussions on productivity occur. The aim of this research was to study the effect of, mainly temperature overcoming dormancy in different apricot cultivars growing two areas (Italy, Tuscany: lat. 43°02′N, long. 10°36′E; Spain, Murcia: 38°16′N, 1°16′W) representative Mediterranean climate. Trials were conducted for consecutive years same genotypes: ‘Currot’, ‘San Castrese’, ‘Goldrich’, ‘Stark Early Orange’ and ‘Orange Red’. These genotypes cover range chilling (CR) these areas. CR (measured by chill units, CU portions) breaking dormancy, heat requirements, flowering date fruit-set percentages measured. Temperatures recorded transformed into corresponding portions Utah Model Dynamic model, respectively. climatic conditions determined a dissimilar unit accumulation Tuscany (Italy) Murcia (Spain) well an important year both While all with exception Stark Orange overcame significant differences regarding environments observed, depending also cultivar. results showed that completely accurate regard establishing release under Temperature should be analysed together other factors order improve assessment.
