摘要: This paper is a review of the underlying material phenomenology for low-cycle fatigue both in time-independent and time-dependent regimes. It discusses origins predictive methodology from an inelastic strain viewpoint some twenty-five years ago reviews various approaches that have evolved over intervening years. These are shown to become increasingly more complicated with growth our gradually developing understanding behavior structural alloys. shows combined effects cyclic plastic strain, environment, wave shape, frequency rate interact complex way specific alloy interest. A continuing challenge exists provide designer safe yet useful rules adequately reflect materials’ throughout component’s service life.
