摘要: The present invention comprises methods and systems/devices for non-invasively measuring birefringent tissues (e.g. collagen) changes during treatment of tissue, e.g., denaturation by the application RF energy, through linear dichroism, circular or birefringence. optionally uses polarization sensitive optical measurements to discriminate between unidirectionally oriented strands collagen, such as a ligament tendon, planar collagen surfaces, dermal layer skin in joint capsules.
