摘要: Nocturia is one of the most bothersome all urologic symptoms, yet even a rudimentary classification does not exist. We herein propose system nocturia based on retrospective study. The records 200 consecutive patients with were reviewed. Evaluation included history, micturition diary (including day, night, and 24-hr voided volume), postvoid residual urine (PVR), videourodynamic study (VUDS). Functional bladder capacity (FBC) was determined to be largest volume in period. etiology thus classified into three groups: nocturnal polyuria ([NP] which during hours sleep exceeds 35% output), detrusor overactivity ([NDO] defined as attributable diminished sleep), mixed (NP+NDO); (24-hr output >2,500 cc) separately. There 129 women 65 men ranging age from 17 94 years (x=59). Overall 13 (7%) had NP, 111 (57%) NDO, 70 (36%) their (both NP NDO). Forty-five (23%) also polyuria. These data confirm that multifactorial many instances unrelated underlying condition. Nocturnal overproduction significant component 43% patients, whom will have NDO. believe treatment should directed at both conditions.
