Frequency and Impact of Interpersonal Trauma in Older Women

摘要: Interpersonal violence impacts the lives of many women in society. However, despite proliferation research this area, there is limited information about frequency and impact interpersonal trauma experiences late life. This study investigated relationship between a history subsequent adjustment difficulties, including psychological distress physical health, over age 60. Findings demonstrate that has significant on later-life functioning. Additionally, presence multiple traumatization was critical factor determining which individuals manifested long-term symptoms.
