USE OF TOPAZ FOR TRANSPORTATION-LAND USE PLANNING IN A SUBURBAN COUNTY

摘要: Techniques used to create and assess a variety of year 2000 joint land use highway network patterns for Prince William county, Virginia, are described. The assessment has been done mainly in terms travel related impacts. impacts include the overall cost travel, congestion levels, fuel consumption, air pollution emissions. Volume capacity ratios on each link county were also estimated. A sketch-planning procedure called Technique Optimum Placement Activities Zones (TOPAZ) was allocate expected future activities 11 districts so as minimize cost.
