摘要: The survivability of optical networks based on WDM technology is a critical concern. Shared path protection provides fast recovery from network failure. To ensure high resource usage efficiency, optimal configuration lightpaths needed. This possible in static traffic but not so dynamic traffic. How to reconfigure the accommodate changes demand poses new challenge. Carrying out full reconfiguration all backup paths way achieve good performance. However, it time-consuming and for practical use. In this paper, we propose technique called sub-reconfiguration rearrange networks. captures property sharing resources. So, efficiency can be improved effectively. We carry simulation experiments with input. results show that our save up 10% wavelength significantly lower overbuild. It support improve effectively
