摘要: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to play important roles in many human diseases. However, their functions and mechanisms tumorigenesis development remain largely unknown. Here, we demonstrated that focally amplified lncRNA epithelial cancer (FALEC) was upregulated significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis, TNM stage gastric (GC). Further experiments revealed FALEC knockdown inhibited GC cells migration invasion vitro. Mechanistic investigations small interfering RNA-induced silencing of decreased expression the nearby gene extracellular matrix protein 1 (ECM1) cis. Additionally, ECM1 were positively correlated, high levels predicted shorter survival time patients. Our results suggest downregulation through impairing by exerting an enhancer-like function. work provides valuable information a novel promising target for developing new therapeutic strategies GC.
