摘要: To improve scalability of Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching (GMPLS) it may be useful to aggregate Switched Paths (LSPs) by creating a hierarchy such LSPs. A way create is by (a) Switching Router (LSR) creating Traffic Engineering Label Path (TE LSP), (b) the LSR forming forwarding adjacency (FA) out that LSP (by advertising this as Traffic Engineering (TE) link into same instance ISIS/OSPF one that was used (c) allowing other LSRs use FAs for their path computation, and (d) nesting LSPs originated by other using label stack construct). This document describes mechanisms accomplish this.
