摘要: Down syndrome (DS) is a genetic disorder caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21 (triso‐ my 21), with incidence in 1 700 live births. The third causes series physical, biological and behavioural characteristics that are syndrome-specific including in‐ tellectual disability, heart defects, problems the endocrine immune system other medical conditions (Epstein et al., 1991).
