摘要: Abstract There have been many empirical studies associating commuting time and health outcomes in the last few decades. Their general conclusion is that are negatively related. The validity of their findings, however, questionable, given lack good identification strategies to correctly account for omitted variables. In this paper, we analyze relationship using a large unique nationally representative sample Brazilian individuals, coupled with use propensity score matching techniques, application an exhaustive set standard falsification tests sensitivity analysis may prevent one from claiming causal link between two Our results indicate individuals more than hour appear statistically higher probability, ranging 1.9 4.6 percentage points, reporting bad status when compared person whose less hour.
