Effects of Forestland Ownership Conversion on Greenhouse Gas Emissions: The Case of South Korea

摘要: This research analyzed the effects of forestland conversion from private to public ownership on greenhouse gas emissions by quantifying relationship between and deforestation, then examining change in deforestation South Korea. Ex ante simulations forecast resulting rates under current level national three scenarios increased percentages forestland. The findings suggest that increasing percentage would mitigate increase rate, which turn moderate emissions.
