摘要: Hepatic hydatid cysts are a common surgical problem that is encountered in many tropical countries, including India. Open exploration and excision had been the mainstay of treatment until advent laparoscopy. In 1998, we successfully managed six cases large hepatic using videoendoscope, with excellent postoperative follow-up results. Four men two women participated this study, patient ages ranging from 28 to 42 years. The duration disease ranged 1.3 2.8 All patients undergone preoperative albendazole therapy for more than 2 months. Complete evacuation cyst contents, all daughter laminated membrane, along subtotal extrahepatic part wall, was accomplished without any spillage into peritoneal cavity. saucerized cavity drained. drains were removed 6 9.4 days after check ultrasound. Postoperative 3 9 months revealed no evidence recurrence abdomen. It possible carefully planned placement trocars completely eliminate risk spillage, therefore not compromise standard principles surgery.
