摘要: Coefficients of momentum and vapour transfer spruce shoots in a wind-tunnel are measured, shown to depend on shoot density: per unit needle area becomes less effective as density increases. Comparisons with theoretical values derived from established coefficients for 1 mm 3 diameter cylinders (representing needles twigs, respectively) indicate that the magnitude implied shelter effect is same water momentum.
