摘要: This paper documents the growth of Aboriginal children in remote communities and gazetted towns Kimberley region far north Western Australia over past 20 years. The study's specific aim was to compare height weight different environments from birth five years age. From 1979 1983, living were significantly taller heavier than their counterparts communities. 1984 1988 thereafter, there no significant differences patterns Overall, weight-for-age height-for-age has improved since 1970s relative town-dwelling counterparts. These changes shed light on quality social physical environment may assist with development future programs for child health.
