摘要: Application of an elementary technique dimensional analysis, that testing for geometric similitude, suggests impact genesis most lunar craters. Geometrically similar phenomena fulfill four requirements: (1) log-log plots paired descriptive variables are linear, (2) slopes these equal ratios the dimensions two variables, (3) intercepts same and (4) belong to general taxonomic group. Five topographic criteria used test terrestrial craters similitude: variation rim diameter with interior depth, exterior height, width crest circularity, (5) height crater depth. By all criteria, fresh bowl-shaped between 10 m 20 km in geometrically meteorite produced by chemical nuclear explosives at shallow depths burial. Most exceeding 10-20 only last three similitude.
