摘要: In interferometry and optical testing, system wave-front measurements that are analyzed on a restricted subdomain of the full pupil can include predictable systematic errors. nearly all cases, measured rms error magnitudes individual aberration polynomial coefficients underestimate present in full-pupil domain. We an analytic method to determine relationships between polynomials defined domain those concentric subdomain. this way, measurement errors introduced by subregion selection investigated. Using vector matrix representations for coefficients, we generalize study arbitrary input wave fronts sizes. While insufficient predicting front domain, studying relationship known allows us set size limits fidelity.
