摘要: Many fermentation products are produced under microaerobic or anaerobic conditions, in which oxygen is undetectable by dissolved probe, presenting a challenge for process monitoring and control. Extracellular redox potentials that can be detected conveniently affect intracellular homeostasis metabolism, consequently control profiles of products, provide an alternative these processes. This article reviews updated progress the impact on gene expression, protein biosynthesis metabolism as well potential strategies more efficient production taking ethanol yeast Saccharomyces conditions butanol bacterium Clostridium examples.
