摘要: We developed an index to differentiate between low dissolved oxygen effects and sediment contamination for sites classified as degraded by the Chesapeake Bay Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (B-IBI), using discriminant analysis. tested 126 metrics differences with contaminated sediments. A total 16 benthic community met variable selection criteria were used develop a function that into one two stress groups. The resulting correctly 77% 80% in validation data.
