摘要: Converging data suggest that abnormal synchronised oscillatory activity in the basal ganglia may contribute to bradykinesia patients with Parkinson's disease. This synchrony preferentially occurs over 10-30 Hz, so-called beta band. Correlative evidence has been supplemented by experiments which direct stimulation of band slows movement. Yet questions remain regarding small scale latter effects and whether is an early or even obligatory feature parkinsonism. Nevertheless, principle abnormally can disrupt function finds a precedent syndrome cortical myoclonus. Here, pathologically discharges pyramidal neurons are transmitted healthy spinal cord. The result synchronous discharge motor units leading rhythmic jerking.
