摘要: We have demonstrated that resorcinol–formaldehyde resin polymers are good visible light responsive photocatalysts, with band gap energies ranging from ca. 1.80 to 2.00 eV. They were found be photoactive in terms of decomposition organic substrates under irradiation. The photocatalytic performance resins could markedly enhanced by coupling electron conducting materials such as reduced graphene oxide. Photocatalytic water oxidation was also achievable on the hybrid oxide/resin catalyst a sacrificial agent. These industrial widely-used exhibit many merits photocatalysts low-cost, high surface area, large pore size and volume, facile preparation scalability for development eco-friendly commercial products “self-cleaning” properties, based their capability oxidative removal pollutants light.
