摘要: The side population cells characterized by the ability to transport Hoechst 33342 out of have been identified as cancer stem-like cells. ABCG2 is found confer (SP) phenotype, multidrug resistance (MDR) and tumor recurrence. In this study, we secalonic acid D (SAD), a metabolite marine-derived mangrove endophytic fungus, showed potent anticancer effect on ABCB1-, ABCC1- ABCG2- overexpressing MTT assay. Furthermore, SAD could down-regulate expression decrease percentage SP in lung assay sorted were sensitive also inhibit sphere-forming Although did not affect mRNA, it shortened half-life protein activating calpain 1. These results implicated that be developed leading compound target stem would promising agent treat patients.
