摘要: The late Campanian-early Maastrichtian site of Lo Hueco (Cuenca, Spain) has provided a set well-preserved crocodyliform skull and lower jaw remains, which are described here assigned to new basal eusuchian taxon, Lohuecosuchus megadontos gen. et sp. nov. reevaluation complete from the synchronous Fox-Amphoux (Department Var, France) allows us define second species this genus. Phylogenetic analysis places in clade exclusively composed by European Late Cretaceous taxa. This clade, defined as Allodaposuchidae, is recognized sister group Hylaeochampsidae, also comprised forms. Allodaposuchidae Hylaeochampsidae grouped identified Crocodylia, only lineage that reaches our days. shows vicariant distribution pattern archipelago, with several Ibero-Armorican forms more closely related each other than Romanian Allodaposuchus precedens.
