Separation of Permanent Gases on the All-Silica 8-Ring Clathrasil DD3R

摘要: The clathrasil Deca-dodecasil 3R (DD3R) has been synthesised in its pure form and the synthesis was scaled up to batches of 20 grams. After removal organic template 1-adamantanamine, DD3R shown be able adsorb small gases readily while alkanes alkenes with three or four carbon atoms show a retarded adsorption at 296K. On other hand 1.3 butadiene adsorbs readily.
