摘要: Betulinic acid (BA), a natural pentacyclic triterpene found in many medicinal plants is known to have various biological activity including tumor suppression and anti-inflammatory effects. In this study, the cell-death induction effect of BA was investigated BV-2 microglia cells. cytotoxic cells with IC₅₀ approximately 2.0 µM. Treatment resulted dose-dependent chromosomal DNA degradation, suggesting that these underwent apoptosis. Flow cytometric analysis further confirmed BA-treated showed hypodiploid content. treatment triggered apoptosis by decreasing Bcl-2 levels, activation capase-3 protease cleavage PARP. addition, induced accumulation p62 increase conversion LC3-I LC3-II, which are important autophagic flux monitoring markers. The LC3-II indicates autophagosome formation, however, represents downstream autophagy pathway blocked. It demonstrated cell death inducing inhibiting flux. These data may provide new information towards understanding mechanisms induce
