Diagnosis and management of hemangiomas and vascular malformations of the head and neck.

摘要: Vascular anomalies are congenital errors in vascular development. They frequently involve the head, neck, and oral cavity. Subdivided into tumors (hemangiomas) malformations, remain poorly understood. However, growing interest recent advances diagnosis, management, molecular characterization of these lesions improving treatment strategies. The role multidisciplinary team cannot be overstated. This review provides both basic up-to-date knowledge on most common encountered by physicians practitioners. Because options for widely variable often debated, this report aims to provide a comprehensive approach based upon current concepts practical clinical experience.
