摘要: ABSTRACTEffective desorption of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) from adsorbents with non-thermal plasma is developed. In this system, IPA effectively adsorbed activated carbon while dielectric barrier discharge applied to replace the conventional thermal process achieve good efficiency, making treatment equipment smaller in size. Various including molecular sieves and are evaluated for adsorption capacity. The results indicate that BAC has highest capacity (280.31 mg IPA/g) under operating conditions room temperature, 400 ppm, residence time 0.283 s among 5 tested. For process, selectivity 89% achieved as N2 used desorbing gas. addition, air or O2 gas, concentration reduced, because plasmas generate active species oxidize form acetone, CO2, even CO. Furthermore, res...
