摘要: Rainwater is an alternative source of supply water; capturing and storing it are also ways to prevent floods. The objective this work was study the use rainwater seeking take advantage for industrial by means its characterization. In order realize experiment, a collector installed in building Universidade Regional de Blumenau-SC/Campus II. After collection, disinfection storage were effected characterize rainwater; following parameters analyzed: pH, apparent color, total alkalinity, chlorides, hardness, iron, temperature, turbidity microbiology (Escherichia coli coliforms). Measurements carried out using water analysis techniques consistent with “Standard Methods Examination Water Wastewater”. Based on results obtained evaluation made used, as steam generation refrigeration systems, thus taking different types industry.
