摘要: Due to the complexity and heterogeneity inherent hydrologic cycle, modeling of physical water processes has historically inevitably been characterized by a broad spectrum disciplines including data management, visualization, statistical analyses. This is further complicated sub-disciplines within science community, where specific aspects are modeled independently with simplification model boundary integration receiving little attention. can hinder current future research efforts understand, explore, advance science. We developed Virtual Watershed Platform improve understanding more generally streamline model-data tools for analysis, management. Currently, four models have as components integrated into overall platform, demonstrating prepossessing (e.g. sub gridding), interaction, execution, visualization capabilities. The management technologies provide suite capabilities, enabling diverse computation storage capacity, connectivity, accessibility. explored use virtual reality 3d scientific experimentation learning, provided web services transfer between centralized storage, enabled distribution hydrometeorological input, coupled using multiple methods, both each other distributed system.
