Green Analytical Chemistry: Application and Education

摘要: Green chemistry seeks to reduce the hazard environment from chemicals and chemical processes. The most effective pollution prevention method is avoid use or creation of dangerous materials, rather than relegating toxins post-processing cleanup. Despite important role analytical chemists play in assessing environmental health, community a relative newcomer field green chemistry. Significant environmentally benign innovations have been developed, but these are rarely described as "green". Expansion practice application will require educating our undergraduates principles while advancing state art. education has made significant strides within organic chemistry, materials for broader undergraduate curriculum just beginning appear.
