摘要: Performance of several optimisation models is compared, using genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, and mixed integer programming. They are applied to the multi-criteria problem delineating conservation areas in a case forest Lithuania, searching for best trade-off between opportunity cost, connectivity, proximity swamps. The study indicates that, compared with algorithms programming time-inefficient complex formulations that involve large number sites consider spatial connectivity. practical applicability any these techniques will high degree depend on success combating professional isolationism within science practice reserve selection.
