摘要: Summary The effect of total bowel rest by colostomy on collagen metabolism was studied. Fecal diversion led to a marked decrease and protein synthesis in the excluded colon. These changes were accompanied amount noncollagenous components. In colonic part proximal site, less content observed. It concluded that stimulation intraluminal bulk might be important as regulating factor for turnover. remains determined if observed affect healing.
