摘要: Solutions for the steady-state behavior of TEM, TE, and TM waves in an infinite conducting medium moving at a uniform velocity are presented, along with relations between time average power transmitted through medium, dissipated delivered to external mechanical load that maintains constant velocity. Exact solutions valid any obtained using Lorentz transformation. It is shown TEM TE modes describe relativistic linear induction motors or ac MHD generators which usual J × B force dominant mechanism. The mode describes class electroconvection devices electric field acting on induced surface charge interface air gap Both have efficiencies generation capabilities independent absolute value
