摘要: Abstract Hepatoprotective activity of Emblica officinalis (EO) and Chyavanaprash (CHY) extracts were studied using carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) induced liver injury model in rats. EO CHY found to inhibit the hepatotoxicity produced by acute chronic CCl4 administration as seen from decreased levels serum lipid peroxides (LPO), glutamate-pyruvate transaminase (GPT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP).
