摘要: We report a rare case of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment due to full-thickness macular hole in young patient with pars planitis. This study was an interventional report. A 38-year-old Asian man presented acute reduction vision his left eye. His past ocular history revealed precedent two intravitreal steroid injections eye, and fundoscopy total bullous along 360° snowbanking at the plana. Precise preoperative visualization posterior pole impossible dense nuclear cataract. During surgery, unexpected no associated epiretinal membrane observed, which resulted detachment. chronic planitis complicated resulting successfully treated vitrectomy, internal limiting peeling, perfluoropropane tamponade. Visual acuity improved from hand movements 6/36 Snellen 12 months postsurgery. illustrates but possible association between formation subsequent detachment, underlying beneficiary outcome vitrectomy surgery both diagnostically therapeutically.
