摘要: We have investigated and characterised possible sources of variation in measured isotope ratios the resonance ionisation mass spectrometry krypton using resonant transitions at 116.48 558.04 nm 1064 nm. Variation arises when spectral width hyperfine structure odd isotopes is comparable to laser bandwidth from alignment first excited state, which depends on relative polarisations pulses exciting transitions. These effects can be eliminated are strongly saturated polarisation controlled. The precision measurements involving an then consistent with that among even isotopes, so such spectroscopic will not affect reliability samples.
