Bodies, borders, and sex tourism in a globalized world: A tale of two cities - Amsterdam and Havana

摘要: Globalization has stimulated an increase in the movement of bodies across borders as poor migrate search work or safety, and rich travel globe tourists ever-larger numbers. This article explores how these global forces shape production consumption sex tourism two very different cities, Amsterdam Havana. By combining political-economic, feminist, postmodern theoretical perspectives with ethnographic methods data, we examine abstract find concrete expression within practice cities.
