摘要: The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a well-known ligand-activated cytoplasmic transcription factor that contributes to cellular responses against environmental toxins and carcinogens. AhR activated by range of structurally diverse compounds from the environment, microbiome, natural products, host metabolism, suggesting possesses rather promiscuous ligand binding site. Increasing studies have indicated can be variety endogenous ligands induce expression battery genes. regulates physiopathological events, including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, adhesion migration. These new roles expanded our understanding signalling pathways metabolites interacting with under homeostatic pathological conditions. Recent demonstrated linked cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic kidney (CKD) renal carcinoma (RCC). In this review, we summarize gut microbiota-derived inducing activity in patients CKD, CVD, diabetic nephropathy RCC may provide diagnostic prognostic approach for complex damage. We further highlight polyphenols products as agonists or antagonists regulate activity. A better biological activities would allow us illuminate their molecular mechanism discover potential therapeutic strategies targeting activation.
