摘要: Segmentation is an important process that frequently used during development to segregate groups of cells with distinct features. Segmental compartments provide a mechanism for generating and organizing regional properties along embryonic axis within tissues. In vertebrates the two major systems, hindbrain paraxial mesoderm, displays overt signs compartmentalization depends on segmentation their functional organization. The plays key role in regulating head development, it complex coordination center motor activity, breathing rhythms, many unconscious functions. mesoderm generates somites, which give rise axial skeleton. cellular processes these systems depend ordered patterns Hox gene expression as combinatorial code specifies unique identities segments derivatives. this review, we compare contrast signaling inputs transcriptional mechanisms by regulatory networks are established different systems.
