摘要: This paper presents a methodology to integrate life cycle assessment (LCA) in thermo-economic models used for the optimal conceptual design of energy conversion systems. It is illustrated by an application model developed multi-objective optimization combined synthetic natural gas (SNG) and electricity production from lignocellulosic biomass. The inventory (LCI) written as function parameters model. In this way, obtained environmental indicators impact (LCIA) are calculated decision variables process design. LCIA results with compared conventional LCA same process. Then, environomic (i.e. thermodynamic, economic, environmental) superstructure performed. highlight important effects configuration, integration, efficiency scale on impacts.
