摘要: Since the first identification of self-reactive antibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus and other autoimmune rheumatic diseases, many autoantibodies have been identified as useful probes molecular cell biology diagnostic prognostic biomarkers clinical immunology. Among autoantigens, double-stranded desoxoribonucleic acid (dsDNA), Smith antigen (Sm), ribonucleoproteins (RNP), Scl-70 (topoisomerase I), proliferating nuclear (PCNA), others were described serologic hallmarks diagnosis diseases. Despite these advances identifying autoantibody markers, a number challenges controversies persist concerning their origin, usefulness relevance. These include association between anti-ribosomal P features erythematosus, disease specificity several (i.e. chromatin, Jo-1, alpha-fodrin, topo I CENP), relationship SS-A/Ro52 SS-A/Ro60 system(s) detection anti-RNP/Sm anti-fibrillarin antibodies.
