Surface interactions in mixed surfactant systems

摘要: Abstract Existing treatments of specific interactions between surfactants in mixed monolayers do not consider mixtures ionic surfactants, nor are they directly applicable to “penetrated” mono-layers. A general criterion is proposed for the assessment any type mixture. This covers well-known treatment Goodrich, and both soluble insoluble penetrated monolayers. Applications given several Ionic surfactant considered were decyl/dodecylammonium chloride sodium docosylsulfate/sodium dodecylsulfonate. In cases appear be less pronounced than ionic/nonionic mixture dodecylammonium chloride/octanoic acid, where considerable attractive inferred from experimental data.
